Great news, the UC application for fall 2022 is now open! Encourage your transfer students to explore UCR and get an early start on their application (due Nov. 1–30). If they need help, we've got all sorts of resources to help them shine! And if you have questions, we're always here with answers and next-step support.

Prospective Winter 2022 Students

• Early September: Admission notifications begin.
• Now to Oct. 1: Access and submit the Transfer Application Update (TAU) Form.
• Mid-September: Complete the Transfer Academic Update.
• Oct. 15: Submit the Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).
• Nov. 1: Submit final transcripts/documents completed through the end of summer.
• Jan. 3: Winter classes begin.

Prospective Fall 2022 Students

• Aug. 1: The UC Application opens. Get tips with How to Apply to UC Riverside.
• Sept. 1–30: Submit the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) application, which secures your students' place at UCR!
• Sept. 15: Submit the Transfer Application Update (TAU) Form.
• Nov. 1–30: UC Application filing period.
• March: Admission notifications begin.
• March 2: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application. UCR School Code: 001316

We hope you and your students will join us for a student-led series of Instagram Live events for prospective students. Current students, admission counselors, and even our mascot, Scotty Highlander, will share what campus life is like, how to apply, and classes in real time (don't worry, there aren't any quizzes!). Plus, students who attend can win an iPad 10.2" or AirPods Pro!

New Major: Statistics BS+MS
With UCR's new Statistics BS+MS program, students can get a B.S. plus M.S. in five years! They'll get a competitive edge while saving time and money. Details to come.

Fall 2021 Instruction
A total of 80% of classes will be delivered in person, with department chairs determining which courses will be in-person and which will be remote. The circumstances around COVID-19 are rapidly changing, and campus guidelines will continue to evolve as guidance from local, state, and national health authorities are updated.
