School may be out for summer, but our friendly admission counselors are always here to help you help your students reach their academic goals at UC Riverside. Admitted Fall 2021 Transfer Students
Admission notifications rolled out in March. Students are encouraged to visit My.UCR.EDU for admission notifications and other important messages.
- July 1: Deadline to submit final, official high school transcripts.
- July 15: Deadline to submit test scores, if required.
- By August: Submit I-20 documents (International Students only).
- Aug. 1: Deadline to register for Highlander Orientation.
- August–September: New students are required to virtually attend Highlander Orientation, a mandatory, one-day program to explore resources, network, and register for classes.
- Sept. 15: Deadline to submit summer transcript.
- Sept. 23: Fall classes begin.
Prospective Winter 2022 Students
- July 1–31: Access and submit the UC Application.
- Aug. 1–Oct. 1: Access and submit the Transfer Application Update (TAU) Form.
- September: Admission notifications begin.
- Closed winter majors include Art Studio, Psychology, Sociology, Biology, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Science/Business Applications, and Computer Engineering.

Virtual Events for Transfers
Transfer students can attend virtual events, such as the Navigating the UC Transfer Application for Winter Admission workshop on July 1 from 12–1 p.m.
