Your Students Have Been Admitted! Here’s What Comes Next

A big congratulations to your students on their admission to the University of California, Riverside (UCR)! Be sure to support them during this exciting time by providing reminders for upcoming deadlines and encouraging them to attend admitted student events.

Students should check the MyUCR applicant portal and review the Next Steps to Enrollment webpage to stay on top of deadlines for housing, Statement of Intent to Register (SIR), and final documents. It’s also helpful to attend events to connect with future classmates and get a feel for campus life.

We’re looking forward to welcoming our future Highlanders and supporting them in the next chapter of their academic journey!
DATES & DEADLINES | University of California, Riverside
  • May 3: Attend Highlander Day
  • May 10: Deadline to complete housing contract for guaranteed housing
  • June 1: First Years: Deadline to say “YES” to UCR by submitting the Statement of Intent to Register (SIR)
  • July 1: Deadline to submit final transcripts/documents for coursework completed through end of spring
  • September: Fall quarter begins
