Admission Decisions Are Almost Here!

If your students applied to University of California, Riverside (UCR), they can expect to hear from us in March with admission decisions. Here’s how you can help them prepare for the next stage.

Remind students to view their admission status through the MyUCR applicant portal. If admitted, tell them to visit the admissions website to learn about next steps. And encourage them to attend Highlander Day and other admission related events, highlighted below.

If your student applied, but didn’t receive an offer admission, remind them they may have an opportunity to appeal the decision.

• March: First Years: Admission notifications begin
• March 3: Priority deadline to submit FAFSA or CADAA (UCR school code: 001316)
• April 12: First Years: Attend Highlander Day
• May 1: First Years: Deadline to say “YES” to UCR by submitting the Statement of Intent to Register (SIR)
• May 10: Deadline to complete housing contract for guaranteed housing
