New Stroke Treatment
How a bioengineer and a neuroscientist are developing a new stroke treatment

Victor Rodgers, a professor at the Bourns College of Engineering, and Devin K. Binder, an associate professor in residence at the School of Medicine, have received a $390,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health to develop a device to reduce brain swelling and deliver a neuroprotective drug.

Meet the Campbells
Mother-daughter legacy makes its mark

The University Laboratory Building is being renamed the "Rochelle and Allison Campbell Hall" in recognition of longtime support from the Campbell family. Neil Campbell, a well-known biologist and UCR alumnus, is survived by his wife and daughter, Rochelle and Allison, who have continued his commitment to educational experiences for science undergraduates.
