Admitted Highlanders have already demonstrated they deserve a place at UC Riverside, but still have to submit their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to let us know they're coming.

New freshmen need to SIR by May 1, while transfer students need to SIR by June 1.

Students will be guided through the SIR process on their My.UCR.EDU accounts, which they should have set up after applying to the university.

We know the costs of a university education can seem daunting, but UC Riverside is here to help. We prepared some instructional videos to help new students understand their financial aid award packages as well as some cost saving tips every student might find helpful.

Housing Applications Due

Incoming students will have until May 10 to submit their applications for campus housing through their My.UCR.EDU account. In order to secure housing, a first-year student must:

• SIR to UCR
• Complete UCR Housing Res Hall contract
• Pay first payment of $270
