Did you know U.S. News & World Report ranked the University of California, Riverside (UCR) No. 1 in the nation for social mobility for the fourth year in row? Not only that, but CNBC ranked UCR among the top 15 U.S. public universities that "pay off the most."
Don't take our word for it, listen to Patrick discuss his journey to medical school, how UCR equipped him to succeed, and how he's using what he's learned to benefit his hometown community.
As a reminder, transfer students have just a few more weeks to submit their fall 2023 applications to UCR (due Nov. 30)! We encourage them to check out these application tips, as well as the financial aid, dates, and resources featured below.

Cost of attending, financial aid, living expenses — your students will save money at UCR!
- The cost of attending is extremely competitive with private institutions and other UCs.
- Tuition remains flat until graduation, for up to six years.
- 87% of undergrads who applied received financial aid, and 98% of recipients received grants and/or scholarships.
- UCR is No. 4 in Pell Grant student performance (Washington Monthly) and No. 11 best public university for financial aid (The Princeton Review).
- The cost of living in Riverside is much lower than nearby metropolitan areas.
